PTL Tool Manufacturing Capabilities.

• The design department at PTL Manufacturing has over 150 years of combined experience in the design and construction of dies.  In fact, PTL Manufacturing started it's business as a tool and die shop.  PTL later progressed into stamping as a natural expansion of our business.  Using the latest versions of popular CAD software products, to aid in the designing of dies, gives us the ability to download your part's drawing as you intended it to be.  We then can customize the design of the tool to your exact needs and specifications.  Since PTL also performs metal stampings we have the ability to test run the tool before it ever gets setup at your location.  This also includes the ability to produce pilot runs. 

• PTL can be of service to you in all phases of your part's development.  This includes everything from prototyping to hard tooling.  PTL has all the equipment necessary to do your job.  This includes, but is not limited to Drill presses, Mills, Bench Grinders, lathes, vertical saws, horizontal saws, and wire EDM.  We have been using wire EDM since 1984.  Between the combination of equipment and skill PTL can handle any size/type tool making or machining job you may have.
